• One division per member

• Members cannot hold membership with any other Boardrider Club while competing with CHB

• To enter a division, members must meet the age requirement as of December 31, 2025. For example, to compete as a Teen Cadet (13yrs - Under 18’s), a member must not turn 18 on or before December 31, 2025.

To comply with Surfing NSW's insurance policy, all surfers must be financial members before competing.

There will be 10 club rounds per year. After your heat, club members are required to assist with judging, following the established club guidelines.

• Heats are generally 20 minutes, with finals lasting 25 minutes (subject to conditions).

• Heats begin when the yellow flag is raised, signaling to paddle out.

• The green flag and hooter will mark the official start of the heat.

• The red flag and hooter will signal the end of the heat.

• Once your heat ends, return your competition rashie and prepare to judge.

• Check your results — if you place 1st or 2nd, you’ll be surfing again in the next round.

• At times, two heats may run simultaneously on different banks.

• The area between the banks is off-limits to surfers. Free surfing is permitted outside the designated flags.

• For safety and fairness, parents or carers are not allowed in the judging tent during their child’s heat.
